Wael Ali

Mr. Ali is a member of the litigation team and has more than 20 years in litigation experience. His practice focuses on a complex criminal and civil litigation including individual and corporations claims and complex criminal and civil parallel proceedings. He has also represented individuals, corporate employees, officers and directors in investigation and trials.

Mr. Ali has thorough expertise in criminal law and matters where he extends his services to every aspect of criminal law including embezzlement, insider trading, copyright infringement, forgery, possession of prohibited substances, fraud theft, burglary, asset forfeiture, property crimes, offenses against public order, arson, robbery, credit card fraud, commercial fraud, bribery, weapons, prostitution, gambling and money counterfeiting and laundering. He defends those accused of both felonies and misdemeanors.

Mr. Ali also handles complex business litigation in a variety of settings including the representation of clients in banking, finance, insurance, corporate and construction.

He has represented clients in civil litigation in courts in UAE, specializing in business disputes. He has also represented financial institutions, international corporations in a variety of legal disputes ranging from breaches of contract to cases involving frauds, breaches of judiciary duty and misrepresentation.

Mr. Ali has extensive experience representing both creditors and debtors in complex litigation with emphasis on financial products and securities.

He has also significant experience as a litigator who focuses on issues of insurance and reinsurance.

Mr. Ali represents clients in insurance coverage matters involving first party, third party, environmental, tort, business interruption, injuries, general liability, and professional coverage; reinsurance arbitration; commercial litigation; mediation; negotiation; coverage analysis; and claims counsel.

Mr. Ali also is specialized in Family & Shariah Law with regards to issues related to divorce, custody, maintenance, inheritance and wills. He has profound expertise in these matters and provides advice to both muslim and non muslim clients.
